Method 1 - Pant Size
Add 2 inches to your pant waist size to find your appropriate belt size. For example, if you typically wear a size 34 waist pant, then your belt should be size 36.
Method 2 - Measure Tape
Put on a pair of pants that fits well and represents what you plan to wear with your new belt. Thread a measuring tape through your belt loops as you would a belt, at the height you plan to wear the belt. Add 2 inches to this measurement to determine your belt size.
Method 3 - Measure Existing Belt
Put the belt on an even surface with all sides flat on the surface form the buckle. Using a measuring tape, start measuring your belt from the end of the buckle to the belt hole you normally use.
